Today, June 1st, live pig prices recorded a slight decrease in most areas nationwide. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 65,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
- Northern region: Live pig prices on June 1st decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 67,500 – 69,000 VND/kg, nearly 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed in most provinces and cities, with a decrease of 500-1,000 VND/kg. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 65,000-66,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 1,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Southern region: Live pig prices on June 1st also decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg in most provinces and cities. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 65,000-65,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 2,400 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
- Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.
